LAHORE:Lahore High Court on Thursday sought a reply from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on a petition challenging allotment of a stand at Allama Iqbal International Airport to a taxi service recently launched in collaboration with a Turkish company.聽 The court was hearing a petition moved by United Yellow Cab Drivers鈥?Association president Muhammad Aftab.聽 The petitioner鈥檚 counsel said the government had allotted a taxi stanley cup stand to Turkish company Al-Bayrak without an open tender and in violation of rules. He said that the Turkish company was using white cars with yellow stickers on them, which was a violation of rules. The counsel asked the court to cancel adidas campus gr眉n the company鈥檚 parking space allocation.
